Join Richard for an in-depth yoga workshop that blends movement, anatomy, and practical application to help you understand and feel the muscles that support your low back. Grounded in biomechanical research, this workshop goes beyond generic "core work" to explore our stabilizing muscles—like the transverse abdominis, multifidus, obliques, even hamstrings—that work together to create dynamic support for your lumbar spine.

What is our core? Through guided yoga sequences, targeted somatic exercises, and accessible anatomical insights, you'll learn:

  • How to identify your “core” based on your activity

  • How breath, and muscle recruitment support our spine and hips

  • How we can integrate body-length fascial lines to feel centered

  • Techniques to build awareness and strength without strain

Whether you're managing low back discomfort, seeking to deepen your practice, or simply curious about how your body works, this workshop offers a practical, intelligent approach to spinal support that you can integrate into any movement.

Open to all levels. Ideal for yoga practitioners, teachers, movers, and anyone interested in sustainable movement.
